The Coppelia is fairly standard audition rep in Europe. As can be said of the stage part for Wozzeck by Alban Berg. Although nowhere near as difficult as the pit part, it is still very difficult and very exposed. Also one rare opportunity for a tuba player to play at 'violin-speed' ;^)
