I'm not at home now, but I'm pretty sure that I have an LP of Empire Brass playing the Jack Gale arrangements of WSS. Perhaps this was never reissued on CD (it's from their pre-Telarc days), making Craig's assertion correct.

Jack Gale's quintet arrangements, such as the WSS selections, are very satisfying for players and audience alike. In the WSS arrangement, he is faithful to the original Bernstein harmonies and melody lines (particularly in the Prologue--a good challenge for the players) and the complex cross-rhythms in the intro to "A-mer-i-ca." His quintet arrangement of selections from Porgy & Bess is also very effective.
