Try using Bag Balm to not only lap the tubes, but as a regular lube. To lap them, apply the Bag Balm to just one tube at a time and insert it. Then turn it back and forth as far as possible as well as pulling and pushing it in and out. Then repeat with the other tube. Strange as it seems, Bag Balm works very well as a slide lube, and it lasts a long time.
