I was fortunate to attend a performance by Burning River Brass at Brigham young University last night. Wow, what a group. Beautiful playing, gorgeous sound, impeccable intonation! Very tasty tuba playing by Matthew Gaunt. I know they are playing in Carmel on Friday after that I have no idea. If you happen to be lucky enough to have them appearing close by GO AND HEAR THEM! I think I'll head back to my practise room.
