If you are a moron and end up with a slide that is too loose, then you can either use A LOT of lanolin as your slide lubricant, or you'll have to take it to a repair technician to expand the slide.
I was a moron and had to take it to a repair tech. I just hate it when the tuning slide is too tight one day, and falls out when I play the next. It works fine now though. I probably should have taken it to a technician right off the bat.
