Just got back from the TC at CNN Center an hour or so ago. Huge turn-out (400+ I think) as usual.
One thing bothered me, though. Unlike previous years, Don Strand and Harvey Phillips did not have a PA system or bullhorn to use, so Don basically communicated by hand signals (outside of conducting the group, of course). I missed hearing Harvey tell his stories and jokes, too.
One of the players indicated that CNN was becoming a bit testy about TC.
Does anyone know just why Don/Harvey didn't have a PA system to use this year?
