Thanks, Mary Ann. Since I was pushed all the way out to the edge
of the stage by all the extra instruments, I could see into the
audience for the 1st time, and thought I saw you out there. It's
an exciting work with a great tuba part, and I'm grateful to have
had the chance to play it. I worked very hard and was mostly pleased
with my performance (of course one always wishes one had done this
or that better), and the orchestra one again made me proud to be a
part of it. Weren't the horns magnificent - all 8 of em!
