it's the same type, yes, but not Tony's - his was refinished by Dan Oberloh (who's working his magic on one of my horns right now.) I've a call in to the seller to get particulars on this instrument, original Holton valves are very seldom good for more than one refurb and sometimes if poorly-attended to they won't even take one good proper rebuild! Since this is too often the case with school horns I'm curious to find out this particular tuba's "provenance."
