You have mentioned your preference for the 6 valve version before. Why is it that you prefer this model? I have found the 6th valve to make the horn much heavier, a little stuffier and it creates a slightly darker but blander sound (closer to Yamaha F tubas). The brighter sound of the 5 valve version seemed closer to the old german F sound I was after. I didn't find the intonation advantages to be worth the apparent disadvantages I found with this model.
