I'm selling my 9-key C ophicleide. It is in excellent playing condition. I had the pads replace about a year ago. There is an area of cracking on the face of the bell that should be restored or patched. It doesn't affect the playing characteristics of the instrument. I've had great fun learning to play it, but it hasn't gotten the playing time in performance that I had hoped for. It was probably made in the 1840s. The inscription on the bell is stamped: HENRY aDijon. This is an opportunity to acquire it before I list it at auction. Email me with your questions. Asking $3000.
