Hahaha--actually, I should be more honest. I HAVE had 3 good experiences with Yamahas. The first was a YCB-621--great sound for a small tuba. The only reason I disliked it was because it was overpriced and too small for my needs when I tried it. The other horn I played was a MUCH OLDER, yellow brass leadpipe 3-valve upright. But, the 321 and 641 with the gold brass leadpipes are somewhere at the bottom of my list. Now, if I could find one of the originals with the yellow brass leadpipes, my opinion *may* be different. But believe me--I'm not the only one who dislikes those models, but I'm the most vocal about it ;-)
