Have you tried a Miraphone yet? I played one at the 2002 ITEC, I believe it was a new(?)model, and was very impressed with it. Personally, I don't care for Miraphones nor do I play one, however, for the money this was an outstanding BB-flat tuba! Does anyone know which model it was? I believe it had pistons. Good luck finding a suitable tuba!
