I've put up a few pictures of the new Rudolf Meinl 4345 Rotary CC tuba at BassClefBrass.com and also an mp3 if you care to have a listen. The recording was done the other day on a portable Sony mini disc unit. I just plugged the mono mic into the side of the unit and set the levels. The recording quality is good enough to get the idea. I know that there has been quite i bit of talk about this particular model so now all of you can see what it looks like. Bottom line is that this tuba does everything I ask it to do including very nice clams. I especially like the sound,intonation and response of this tuba. It is easy to play at a wisper and will sound huge as well. This is the best CC tuba I have owned/played so far. I think Rudolf Meinl has come up with a winning design in this one. If any of you would care to play test this instrument just give me jingle and we'll set something up, oh, I am located in Chilcoot, CA which is about 40 miles northwest of Reno.
