I'm not certain, but I think Dr. Harvey Phillips has done some. I'm a little foggy, but if I remember correctly, he had 12 euphs and had 3 on a part. He said intonation was better with 3 rather than 2 on a part because they balanced out. The Euphonium Company comes to mind. I think they put out a CD.
Any other advice might be hard to come by. This isn't a very popular medium!
