You also should consider the big Gronitz CC. It's matching your budget even as a factory new orchestral tuba. The Gronitz is considered to be in one line with the top competitors's CCs. The favorable price seems to be a result of only modest (or even no) marketing strategies.
Contact Tony Clement after his return from his actual holiday trip to Florida. As far as I know, he is the only one importing Gronitz tubas to the U.S. at present.
