a nice, projecting german instruments. you have to get used to playing it in order to get a good deep sound, but when you do it's worth it. It's really versatile. It's upper register is equally as good as the lower, if not better. I have a pt-6p so I know what I'm talking about. Sometimes when playing in a large orchestra something bigger is often wanted, but it certainly does the job well.
