in some messages below
I told you of my intention to buy a CC Cerveny tuba CCB601
going directly to Czech Rep (from Italy).
I'm told now that there aren't 601 left in stock :(((
and I have the choice between a CCB686 with
5 valves (but with the 5th valve being the 3/4 step version)
or a CCB603(piggy) with 4 valves.
I've read several comments in this forum on these horns
but I would like to hear some opinion on the best choice
between these 2 particular horns, as the price will
be comparable, but the piggy having
only 4 valves. I will mainly play in community bands,
and in small brass ensembles.
