One of my favorite things that I used to do was play my upright bass along with a CD of various symphonic pieces. Does any one do this with thier tuba? Just for fun. I am not yet proficient enough at tuba to play with the local symphony. So I would like to at least play with some cds. The problem I am having is that the local sheet music retailer does not seem to be interesed in tracking down tuba pats to symphonic pieces. Can anyone recommend where I could purchase a complete tuba part. Not an exerpt book. I like counting. I especially enjoy the eastern european stuff like Shostakovitch. Thanks.
