Cleaning the valves should do it. Run some cheese cloth with some cheap valve oil through the casings. The less expensive valve oils are kerosene based and act like a solvet. Clean the pistons with oil too. Use the cheese cloth with oil on it and work the crud off of them. Then use a dry cloth in the casings and on the pistons. If that doesn't help take it to a trusted repair technician. Where do you live? I may be able to recommend one in your area. I have a 25J that the #1 valve was hanging up all the time. The valve and casing was straight and had no dents. Cleaned and oiled the valves all the time. Did not help. I flushed the horn. (I am a brass repair tech so I didn't have to spend 100 bucks to get it done.) Have not had a problem since then. A professional flush and chemical clean can solve a lot of problems. Your slides will be faster and/or smoother too.
