Here's a Taiwanese saxophone that is built w-a-a-y sturdier than Yamaha's "6-pro" series saxophone (and actually weighs about a 1/2 lb. more than the Yamaha "6-pro" series). In addition, this Taiwanese saxophone doesn't sound "bright" (honky and brittle) like the upper-line Yamaha, yet this Taiwanese instrument -which is very very close to part-interchangable with a Selmer-Paris saxophone - can be sold to the public for under $1000
