I have a 5-pound chunk of lead that was made by melting down fishing sinkers and pouring into a juice can. I hold that against the concave side of the crease while hammering gently on the convex side with a flannel-covered hammer. It works pretty well on junk tubas. Those Olds tubas are fun to work on; they are built like tanks.
