How did you narrow your search down to those two models? Have you actually played the Yamaha 642/842, Meinl 451, B&S, Mirafone, Besson 967/968, Hirsbrunner, and Willson 2950/2975 models? If not, I highly suggest that you look at the two models you indicated PLUS all of these. Then make a decision on what YOU like best. What sounds great for a famous pro may be completely inappropriate for you.
