I'd like Santa to get me an external USB sound card since my built in one is crummy and I do the minidisk line-in thing. My primary goal is to get good audio transfer from the MD line-out to the PC for various recording I make. Secondary goal is something better to plug my cheezy PC speakers and headphones into that doesn't HUMMMMM. Do I need 24 bit? How much signal to noise to I really need? Which is your favorite one? (Budget is a consideration :-) Thanks for the input,
