Ah, yes. The 442. 4=Four-barrel carb 400. 4=four on the floor. 2=two doors. Drum brakes front and rear, so very likely to result in damage to the tuba bouncing around in the back seat.

I helped a buddy build a 1971 W-30 convertible in college. He rolled it at an autocross at Texas World Speedway, and miraculously didn't kill himself in the process. Too bad we didn't spend as much time on the stopping and handling as on that 455. The engine still ran good once we'd righted the car, and we drove it back to the pit area even though only three wheels would touch the ground at any one time. I'm a little more cautious these days; I don't want to damage the tuba in the back seat.
