We're gearing up for our 25th Annual TubaMeister Christmas here in beautiful San Antonio, Texas. Lee Hipp has once again agreed to conduct the large ensemble, The TubaMeisters will perform a couple of tunes, and perhaps there will be another small ensemble. It will be a great time on the San Antonio RiverWalk. Any of you listers who are down this way, be sure to come and participate. Please spread the word.

TUBAMEISTER CHRISTMAS
All tuba, euphonium, and baritone horn players are invited to participate in the Twenty-Fifth Annual TubaMeister Christmas.
Date: Saturday, December 20, 2003
Location: San Antonio, Texas
St. Johns Lutheran Church(registration & rehearsal)
502 E. Nueva
Arneson River Theater(concert on the RiverWalk)
Time: Registration beginning (AT) 9:45 a.m.
Rehearsal from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Concert (AT) 12:00 noon
Cost: For participants: $5.00 donation
For audience: No cost
Conductor: Lee Hipp of the San Antonio Symphony Orchestra
Provided: One copy of the music(baritone parts available in both clefs)
A place to meet, rehearse, and perform
A fun occasion
It is suggested that participants bring a music stand or lyre. Tuba players may wish to bring a strap to assist with holding the instrument. The concert will be performed while standing.
Music is approximately grade 1 1/2 -2. Therefore it is performable by even very young players.
