Simply pretend that the treble clef Bb trumpet music is written in bass clef. In your mind, change the clef from treble to bass. You will also have to add three flats...take away three sharps...or a combination thereof.
The treble clef C (third space, played "open") magically becomes a bass clef Eb (third space, played open) in the same exact place on the staff.
You could not have possibly asked a transposing-related question with a simpler answer.
