Looks like the one we have! Years ago the high school did not own a tuba, so the town band bought one to let the high school borrow. This was before I joined the town band in '88. Unfortunately, they bought cheap and got a 4 valve upright Amati, !without a case!. When I learned about the horn and went to find it, I found it had been stored in the basement of an auxiliary building during construction and wound up under random boxes and partly under water.I tried it and my son used it for practicing at home for a while, but it was just terrible. The worst of it was that it needed so much help that fixing it would cost more than a reasonable used BBb.
So, what would you do? It's not worth playing and not worth fixing. Sell it for scrap?
