Thanks Doug for responding to the second part which affected me most years ago. I dont think I had dystonia, but I have been affected by it through teachers and even a best friend who gave up his dream orchestra job and teaching job because of it. I eventually developed an "attack problem" which wasnt necessarily dystonia, but because it was so similar to what my teachers and friend had, it haunted me and became a mental issue even after lessons with jacobs.
I am determined not to let it become an issue as I learn to play again after 6 some odd years without face time. Sincerely, no name
