This is a general observation and probably doesn't apply in every case, but I'd would be very, very careful for several reasons. 1. Kids as a rule don't treat instruments, especially school owned, with respect and care. They will eat food, chew gum, and etc. and play. 2. They often are poor handled. 3. Maintance is often neglected or poorly done. 4. They often are cheaper models. 5. The school is selling them because they are worn out. (Check the valves for air leaks. If you find one you think is a possibility, have a complete professional check up and evaluation.
