I have purchased several horns from school systems. Generally, they are of no further use to ANYONE!... except for parts... and most of the GOOD parts are already gone. Once in a while a person might get lucky or just by chance is looking for a horn that nobody else wants. If you are looking for Eb tubas, the odds are in your favor. See if your school district has a central repair facillity. If they don't, then the local repair shops will get first shot at the 'good stuff'.
