I'm pretty certain that the Szell Wagner recordings were made in Chester Robert's time. And it's likely he would haved used his York in the Ring excerpts. He's definitely on the York in the Szell/Cleveland Prokofiev 5th, which I hope is still in print. (Masterworks Heritage).

In a period during which the world revolved around the axis' of Jacobs and Bell, Chet Roberts was highly respected as a fine player in his own right. His recordings are worth listening to.
