However, if I met a young man who was so outwardly keen to 'show off' his range, I would take that as an act of arrogance; that's how I read his wording. If he'd written "Ok, I'm X-years old and this is my range X-X. So I know, how much further do I need to go to compete with the best guys?" I'd be far happier...
Perhaps I should get out more...?
