I am unsure of music for such a group, but I am intrigued nonetheless. I am an amateur composer (having recently taken a composition class in school) and being fascinated with the land down under, am investigating the possibility of a didge as a bass instrument in a small, chamber-type ensemble. It IS possible to play a scale on a didge, if your are a talented player (I've heard all kinds of chromatic things and other sound effects done). You might want to consider learning the didge, its essentially a low-tech tuba.
