As a recent graduate of Toby's studio at the Manhattan School of Music, I can say that I have joined the company of Gary and Marty, as well as countless other students of Toby, that have the honor of calling Toby a teacher and friend. I can think of few other people in this world that have the ability to get past the limitations of technique and get right to the core of the music. Toby is not only one of the finest tubists and teachers the world has had in the last 25 years, but he is one HELL of a guy. A trip up to NYC to get a lesson will be worth every penny and second invested. Good luck, and get up and study with him.
