Big ticket items are quite often not shipped from the dealers location. It costs them too much to keep them in stock. Generally, they are "drop shipped" from either the distributer or the manufacturer. I'm guessing this is the case with TE and as such they have no control over when your horn is shipped. However, if you complain enough or even threaten to cancel you order TE may try to pressure the mfg. to get your horn shipped.
Also, think of where they're made. If you're in the States, it has a long way to travel.
