Something that has helped my students in the upper register. Get the Getchell First Book of Practical Studies and the Kuehn 60 Musical Studies. Play them up an octave and down an octave. After you feel comforatable with them, start with your Rochut Bk. I and play them up the octave. Maenz's 12 Special Studies and Popiels' transcriptions of the Bousquet Studies should keep you busy for a year or so. Charlier is another option. Grigoriev? Goodies too!!! Get the Red and Blue books of horn stuff and get hip to treble clef!! That should keep you busy for a decade or two :) Good luck and happy hunting. Oh, did I mention the Bach Cello Suites?
