Lee Stofer did present a list of Conn model numbers at October 1st, 1999. Still I would like to ask for more informations on my old Conn Eb sousaphone, bought second hand here in Denmark in 1990. It was not followed by a history except that it had been used in a school marching band in the USA.
This sousa has the serial #240203. It is very heavy. The tubing carrying the shoulder plate is a fake piece with no air passage. The bore is larger than that of my .689" Eb tuba.
Is this one a 26K, the only Eb model that Lee Stofer does list, or did Conn produce more Eb sousa models?
When did Conn stop producing Eb sousas?
