Fact: I teach brass lessons in a small town.
Fact: I am about to get two tuba students.
Fact: One is a 9th grader, the other is a 10th.
Opinion: I don't know a ton about tuba solos for high school kids.
Opinion: The kids sound pretty damn good.
Question: Can you give me your opinion about some solos that I should be seeking for these guys? Please list solo's of differing difficulty levels. If some were REALLY easy (that would be in their opinion) I would have them work on a couple different solos at a time.
