I use a Schilke HII with my MW 2165 exclusively. My current tuba teacher, Edwin Diefes uses on his 2165 and Getzen CC tuba a custom Schilke HII. It has the EXACT same rim, cup, throat, and stem as a Schilke HII BUT it has a ton of added mass on it. We both love our mouthpieces. I find that it is the best mouthpiece for my playing style. The sound is very round, rich, and centered. as for its use on a Hirsbrunner, I couldn't help you out.
