If you are marching with a brand-new drum corps which is using Bb instruments, then maybe you can. Established corps that have switched to Bb will have the equipment for you. If the hornline is in G, then use their horns. Don't use your own unless absolutely necessary.

Bottom line:
Ask the staff, and if they allow it, try to use your tuba in the line and compare it to using a G contra. The switch between BBb and GG is nowhere as bad as people think, and your BBb will feel much smaller by the time you play on it again.

I would never allow a Bb/G mix myself, but that's not my corps.
