Man!! That would have to suck! And yet it didn't effect it at all, thats interesting. And another moral- steer clear of baseballs and cleats.

I am also a high school student, and today we had to lesten to some speeches. One of them was about the embouchure. From what i gatherd- you can either make or break it. The more you practice, the better you get, the better your embouchure will be. But you can hurt it by over practicing, and blasting your horn. I know of a guy that was in marching band, the director kept telling him to play louder, and he got a wierd look on his face. He pulled the mouthpiece away and it was full of blood. He had busted his lip, and had to get stiches- and he was never really able to play well again. My thoughts- just take practice easy, don't over power, and enjoy.
