I use a Korg C-20. It's a cute little thing that has no problems all the way down to my pedal G (such as it is). It gets me a ticket to the right ballpark, then I let my ears do the rest. It really seems pretty accurate, though. The real plus is that it's pocket-sized. It's a little sensitive, though. Apparently the air conditioner in my house, even though it's quiet, causes some sort of resonance around a sharp D or a flat Eb. The tuner occaisionally picks it up when it has fresh batteries.
