Is there not a section either in "Song and Wind" or "Arnold Jacobs: Legacy of a Master" that states that Mr. Donatelli sold Mr. Jacobs his York because Mr. Donatelli was "too portly." His belly was too jutted out to breathe properly with the York because the horn was right against his belly, so he sold the horn to Mr. jacobs. I have not read this story in a year or so, and I could be completely wrong, but maybe Mr. Fredericksen could throw some light on this.
