I see by the postings some of you have information on how old tubas are. I recently purchased a Regent Eb, and would be interested in the specs on it. I can find two numbers on it, one on the bell in the crest (154753) and one on the valve (119558). How common are Eb tubas nowadays? When I was playing regularly (1979-1989), that was what I learned on. I had to check about 12 stores in the Toronto area before I found one!
