Hey Gang,
The Dillon Music webmaster has the picture of a lacquered Conn 52J. Hopefully. Hopefully. Hopefully. He will have it posted in the next day or so. I just compaired a production horn to the original King prototype for the Conn 52J CC. A few MINOR tweaks and the production horns play as well as what we hand built. I've been humbled by a production line horn! :) Ah, what the heck. A great horn is only a great horn if it matches the player. By the way, I don't know why Conn even bothered with a 5th valve. With 2 top pull slides for the 4th valve, there is no excuse for playing any note out of tune.
Anyway, check out the Dillon Music website for a picture of the Conn 52J, this weekend. I doubt it will be posted tonight or first thing in the morning.
