The terminology EEb is incorrect. The letter configuration refers the pitch of the fundamental tone of the open instrument. EEb would mean a contrabass tuba a fifth lower than a BBb tuba. All tubas generally refered to as Eb are Eb not EEb. The CC and BBb terminology is correct. For that refers to the lower octave (second octave on the piano I believe). The octave designation begins with C, which is why the B flats and Cs are called BBb and CC, while the Eb and F are single initials. Just a little bit of technical info there. You never know when you may need it. You could get to be on "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" and get asked that very questoin for a million bucks!
