I had the opportunity to blow on one of these old Holtons. My teacher has one that he has just rebuilt, and man can that thing put out the sound! A great horn for orchestra or even some bands (just listen to the USMC band, those tubas can really play). I saw this horn on eBay, and started licking my chops. I probably won't buy it (lack of funds), but whoever gets it will have a great horn!
