I've made them before for my own use. If you're willing to wait maybe a long time, I could make one or more sometime. Complete plexigas is possible, but the shank tends to break eventually. A plexi top with my regular screw shank is most likely strong enough. Ellis Wean made his with an aluminum shank pressed in, but my experience has been that the plexi will crack in time.
