I recently bought a St. Petersburg from the Tuba Exchange in S.C. and within a month there was laquer damage on the horn. I was drawn in by the wonderful playing qualities of the horn for such a great price and I just wanted to warn you of the laquer damage possibility. By the way, the Tuba Exchange was really good about it and allowed me to return the tuba(so I have no regrets about buying from them). I now own a CC Mirafone TE-186 model and I love it!!!
