I'm playing this piece on my senior recital. It's not an incredibly difficult piece, but there is so much MUSIC to be made in it that I decided to do it. It is a very lyrical piece, so go about it as if you were singing it. Dynamics and phrasing are key to a solid, musical performance. Enjoy it, it's one of my favorites; I hope that it becomes one of yours too. Ultimately, remember that you are not a tuba player; you are a musician that playes the tuba. The music has to come from you; the tuba is just there to amplify your musical voice. Godspeed, MORGSTER
